When you use our service you send information to Coursearena. This information can be personal (e.g. names, email addresses) or non-personal (e.g., submitted courses). We collect these information and store them in our databases to provide our services.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

How we use your data

The information you provide (e.g. names, email addresses) are stored in our database as long as you have an account with Coursearena. If you decide to delete your account, these information will be removed from the database.
We will never share, sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties at any time unless we have your permission or are required by law.

How we protect your data

Coursearena implements several mechanisms to prevent the unauthorized access to polls and accounts.
User accounts are protected by passwords. Passwords are only stored in encrypted form on our servers. We check the strengh of your password during the sign-up process in order to ensure that your password is sufficiently complex. This increases the security of your account.
All of your data is stored on modern webservers with the highest security standards. See "Location of the data" for more details.

Coursearena makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes IP addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp and referring/exit pages.

Advertising

Coursearena displays advertising on some of the web pages. We display ads from Google's AdSense network. They can be targeted based on the course or topic content. You can review Google’s Ads Privacy Policy here: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/ads/ . Furthermore, you can use Google’s Ads Preferences Manager to configure the right ads settings for you. We are only using non-personalized ads for visitors from the EU.
